For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.
Matthew 25:35

  • Grace Mission to Host Gala

    August 18, 2014

Grace Mission is gearing up for its 5th Annual Evening of Grace fundraiser, “Growing in Grace…Harvesting Love”. It will be held at the FSU Alumni Center on Tennessee Street on Saturday, September 27th from 5:30-10 pm. The event will include a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, drinks, a silent auction, and music, a sit-down dinner with music and remarks on Grace Mission, and an after dinner concert from the Sarah Mac Band.  Tickets are $100 per person.  Fr. Ted and Mtr. Teri are each trying to sponsor a table.  We are looking for 6 people at each table.  You can purchase a ticket and designate who's table you would like to sit at, Fr. Ted's or Mtr Teri's.  Let's see whose table fills up first.  This is a friendly competition and the only winners are the people who depend upon the work of Grace Mission.

  • Food Gift Cards Needed

    July 20, 2014

The church often receives calls and/or visits from people requesting aid in addition to visiting our food pantry.  While it is not our policy to give money, we do like to keep $10 food gift cards in the office to help respond to these requests.   We are currently out of these cards.  If you feel led, please purchase food gift cards (McDonald's seems to be popular) for the church to share with those in need.    Thank you!
