We are a warm, loving church family dedicated to the spreading of God’s Word and are excited about our mission here at Holy Comforter Episcopal Church.

    We have secured a storage unit and are collecting items now.  Last year we had a very successful sale of furniture, kitchenware, art, clothes, shoes, books, dvds, toys, etc.  One year we even had a car and golf cart! All donations are tax deductible.  Forms are available in the narthex. You can bring your boxed or bagged items to the back of the church and we will move them.  If you need help with larger items, please call Catherine Maddox or by email and she'll arrange for a time to pick them up. We put the fun in FUNdraiser for this event and are looking for volunteers. The volunteer sign-up form is in the narthex. Or, contact Catherine directly.

    Mark your calendars for May 2-4th for the Annual Family Campout at Camp Weed.This year's theme is "Sowing the Seeds of Faith" and coincides with with the Diocesan Homecoming 90thAnniversary Celebration.

  • B.E.A.T Mission Week June 2-6th

    April 12, 2014

    Rising 6th through 12 graders: Kick off your summer with a week of service, friendship and fun! B.E.A.T. (Being Extraordinary Around Tallahassee) Mission week is all about making a difference in Tallahassee. Participants will work together focusing on a different area of need in our community: Hunger, Poverty & Homelessness, Children's Welfare, Elder Care and Environmental Protection. B.E.A.T. Week is the combined effort of the Episcopal Churches in Tallahassee, but is open to all middle and high schoolers so please invite your friends! Cost is $20 and includes lunches.

    Adults interested in giving back in Tallahassee? Come join us as a leader, handling publicity, administrative tasks and/or food prep.

  • VBS June 9th-13th - "Workshop of Wonders"

    Our Workshop of Wonders VBS for rising Kindergarten through rising 5th grade will commence on June 9th - 13th from 5:30 to 8pm in the evening.  Dinner will be provided. Cost is $30.00 for one child and $20.00 for each additional child in a family.
